Toxic relationship is killing you.
"Happy wife, happy life."
This isn’t a joke. I mean it.
Actually, I’d go further and say:
Happy relationship, happy life.
I just stumbled on a few short videos about relationships.
The man in the video shared his feelings raw.
He said, "Being in a toxic relationship is like living with a ticking time bomb."
You don’t know when it’ll explode.
But the funny thing is, most people these days spend 40 days deciding between an iPhone and a Samsung,
But.
Only 4 minutes swiping right on Tinder to start a new relationship.
Oh man, that’s easier than ordering a boba tea on DoorDash.
Anyway, this week, let’s reflect on the relationships in our lives.
And zooming out.
This isn’t just about romantic partners.
Coworkers, family, and even your relationship with yourself.
They all count.
I’m not going to spoil you with my thoughts on relationships.
Because the protagonist of this writing prompt isn’t me, it’s you.
Let’s take this time to look inward together.
Saturday Reflection
Q1: Why do people stay in toxic relationships?
Q2: Are you currently in any kind of toxic relationship? If yes, why haven’t you walked away?
Q3: What’s the worst relationship you’ve had, and how did you deal with it?
Q4: How would you define a healthy relationship vs. a toxic one?
Q5: If someone you care about is stuck in a toxic relationship (of any kind), what three pieces of advice would you give them?
Last week, we reflected on failure and how to face it.
